Why "Years in Business" Is the Wrong Trust Signal
Most agency pitches lead with a number: years in business, clients served, awards won. None of it tells you who is actually going to be at the keyboard when your site gets built or your ad account gets managed.
We're not going to pretend to have a decade of history we don't have. Instead, we're naming the person doing the work on every engagement and showing our thinking in public: real processes, real explanations, honest recommendations.
If longevity is the only thing an agency can point to, that's usually because there isn't much else to look at. Better signals exist: clear explanations of what they'll do and why, willingness to say 'you don't need that', a named person accountable for the work, and examples you can inspect. Our about page and process are written in that spirit, and how to choose a web agency lists the questions worth asking anyone.
