Stage 01 · Build

Web Development

When your growth problem needs something built, we can build it.

“I need a website, store or digital product.”

Most local business websites are built once and never touched again: a template, a logo swap, a stock photo of a handshake. They load slowly, they don't track anything, and they were never designed to turn a visitor into a lead. That's not a website; it's a business card that happens to load in a browser.

We build the opposite: a custom website engineered around a small number of clear conversion paths (call, form or booking), with speed, search structure and tracking treated as core requirements rather than add-ons. The platform is chosen to match how complex your business is and how much you want to maintain yourself. If you're a Brisbane or Moreton Bay business starting fresh, or replacing a site that has run its course, this is where we begin.

Signs this is what you need

  • You have no website, or only a social profile standing in for one
  • You need something a template can't do: portals, bookings, calculators, integrations
  • Your current site is on a platform that can't be fixed economically (see redevelopment)
  • You want a site built so that SEO, tracking and ads work from day one

When you probably don't need it

  • Your site works and mostly needs tidying: start with maintenance instead
  • You only need one missing capability: a feature can often be added to what you have
  • A well-configured template would genuinely do the job. We'll say so.

Telling you this is part of the job.

What gets built

Five kinds of build, chosen by need rather than habit

  • Business and lead-generation websites: a small number of clear paths to a call, form or booking
  • CMS websites your team can edit without calling a developer
  • Web applications: customer portals, dashboards, internal tools, booking and quoting systems
  • Ecommerce: catalogues, checkout, payments and order flow (see ecommerce development)
  • Integrations: CRMs, payment gateways, email platforms, accounting software and APIs

Under the hood

The engineering decisions most clients never see

Authentication, form handling, spam protection, hosting, caching, image pipelines and error monitoring all decide whether a site stays reliable after launch. We make those decisions deliberately and write them down, so the next person to touch your site isn't reverse-engineering it.

Choosing a platform is a maintenance decision as much as a build decision. A site your team can edit safely, on a stack with an active community, is cheaper to own than a clever one nobody can update.

How It Works

How we deliver Web Development

1

Technical audit

We start by auditing your current site, or your lack of one: speed, structure, tracking, and how it holds up against your local competitors.

2

Engineered build

We design and build around your highest-value conversion paths first, then layer in content, not the other way around.

3

Launch & handover

You get a live site, a written technical audit report, and a walkthrough of what was built and why. No black box.

What's Included

Every engagement includes

Custom builds, not templates

WordPress, Webflow or React, chosen for your complexity and maintenance needs, not the platform that's easiest for us to sell. Web applications and portals included.

Conversion-first UX

Every layout is built around a small number of clear lead paths (call, form or booking), engineered into the structure rather than bolted on after launch.

Speed & Core Web Vitals

Fast loading, stable layouts and responsive interactions ship as standard, because they affect both visitors and how search engines treat your site.

Search-ready from day one

Clean semantic structure, titles, metadata, schema markup and sensible URLs are built in, so your site is ready for SEO, AEO and GEO work rather than needing to be untangled first.

E-commerce & integrations

Booking systems, payment gateways and CRM connections where your business needs them, engineered to actually talk to each other.

The Deliverable

A scoped build (page count, functionality) plus a written technical audit report handed to you at kickoff.

Common Questions

Before you get in touch

Do you build new websites for businesses in Brisbane and Moreton Bay?

Yes. We're based in Bray Park and build custom websites and web applications for businesses across Moreton Bay and Greater Brisbane. We also work with businesses elsewhere in Queensland.

Do I need a full redesign, or can you work with my existing site?

Depends what the audit finds. Sometimes the fix is targeted: speed, tracking, a handful of pages. Sometimes the underlying platform is the real problem. We'll tell you which, honestly, before any work starts. See our website maintenance and improvement work if your site mostly needs care rather than a rebuild.

Which platform will you build on: WordPress, Webflow or React?

Whichever matches your complexity and how much you want to maintain yourself day to day. We scope this with you before quoting, not after.

What happens after launch?

You own the site outright. Ongoing work such as content updates, new pages, integrations and maintenance is scoped separately as needed; there's no forced retainer to keep the lights on.

Tell us what isn't working.

You don't need to know exactly what you need. We'll work out what actually needs to be built, fixed, improved or changed, and tell you if the answer is 'nothing'.
