Local SEO

Be the obvious local choice across Bray Park, Moreton Bay and Greater Brisbane.

“My website is live but nobody can find it.”

Local search is a different problem from general SEO. Google is answering 'who is near me or serves my area, and can I trust them?' That depends on proximity, relevance and prominence, and on signals you control: a complete, accurate Google Business Profile, consistent details across the web, genuine reviews, and a website that makes your services and service area unmistakable.

What local SEO isn't: dozens of near-identical 'Plumber in [Suburb]' pages. Those add URLs without adding value. Where a location genuinely warrants its own page (a real premises, a distinct team, locally specific information), we'll build one properly. Otherwise, one strong page per service with clear service-area content does more.

Signs this is what you need

  • You serve a defined area and want calls and enquiries from it
  • Competitors show in the Map Pack and you don't
  • Your business details differ between Google, Facebook and directories
  • Reviews are sparse, unanswered or not asked for

When you probably don't need it

  • You sell nationally with no local component: general SEO is the better fit
  • Your Google Business Profile isn't eligible (no face-to-face customer contact): we'll explain alternatives

Telling you this is part of the job.

Your profile

Google Business Profile: the foundation

  • Eligibility matters: profiles are for businesses that make face-to-face contact with customers, whether at a premises or by visiting them
  • Service-area businesses hide the address and define the areas they serve; a home address shouldn't be displayed publicly without customers visiting it
  • Accurate categories, services, hours and description, updated when anything changes
  • Photos and posts that show the real business, not stock imagery
  • Reviews: a simple, honest way to ask, and considered replies to all of them

Beyond the profile

Citations, content and structure

  • Consistent name, address and phone details wherever the business appears
  • LocalBusiness and Service structured data that mirrors visible page content
  • Location-relevant content: real projects, real areas, real questions, not suburb lists
  • Internal linking that connects services to the areas served
  • Search Console and profile insights to see which queries and actions actually happen

Coverage

Bray Park, Moreton Bay, Greater Brisbane and Queensland

We're based in Bray Park and work across the Moreton Bay Region and Greater Brisbane, with clients elsewhere in Queensland. The right geographic framing depends on your customers: a tradie serving the northern suburbs, a clinic drawing from a few postcodes and a business serving all of Queensland each need a different structure.

Common Questions

Before you get in touch

Do I need a page for every suburb I serve?

Usually not. Near-duplicate suburb pages add little value and can look like spam. A strong page per service plus genuinely local content is usually better. A separate page makes sense when a location has a real premises, team or unique information.

Can I show my home address on Google?

If customers don't visit you there, Google's guidelines say to hide the address and list a service area instead. Check the current Business Profile guidelines for your situation.

How long does local SEO take?

Profile and listing corrections can have effect within weeks. Reviews and content compound over months. Anyone promising a fixed timeframe or ranking is guessing.
